Nicknames: Thief (used more often than his actual name), Clown (Lyla only, he will attack anyone else who calls him such), Jester (mostly Emma), He Who Lies With A Laugh, Troublemaker (mostly Magi but especially Oliver), Toy (Charmer only), Tricky, Shadowson

Elements: Shadow, Shadowlight, Light (passive), Life

Hair: Black, short, straight. Becomes glowing white and spikier when he's in his Shadowlight Form, something he dislikes

Skin: Pale White. Becomes pitch black when he's exposed to a large amount of Shadow Energy, and black with white cracks when in his Shadowlight Form

Eyes: Light blue at birth, turned almost-black/dark blue after Mischief was Casted. He later gained the ability to switch between the two, though with streaks of the other color remaining. When he is entirely unfocused on them, they becoming a swirling mass of both, one of the only signs of his emotions/mental states that he has absolutely cannot fake. When exposed to Shadow Energy or feeling certain strong emotions, his eyes can glow red, a phenomenon that has been happening more and more often as Mischief's powers grow. They become fiery like Mischief's when he's exposed to a very large amount of Shadow energy or is using his Shadow Cloak, turning fiery but blue with large red pupils when he's in his Shadowlight Form

Mischievous 'Mischief' Ericsprit

(The picture isn't entirely right — she's a bit longer and more elegant — but it's the closest I've ever gotten, so... Her face just isn't right, and now it's driving me crazy!)

Nicknames: Missy, Little Trick, Trick, Chiefy (only certain people may call her this)

Elements: Shadow, Magic, Life, Shadowlight (passive)

'Skin': Pitch black, occasionally becomes smoky

Eyes: Made out of Shadowflame, but with a pinker tinge than is usual

Squawks Ericsprit

(Somewhere between these three images is Eric's second Spirit)

Eric — with a laugh, a salute, and a bag of gold — jumped out a palace window to escape guards. Mischief was busy with another piece of their plan, so Eric's didn't want to Summon her. His need to escape, loot intact, caused Squawks to be Casted. Squawks loves to travel, spending her days delivering cargo and flying with flocks of giant birds (despite not actually being a bird). She is a cheerful soul, able to psychically connect with someone through touch to more easily communicate in flight; this makes combat or evasive flying easier, but can give non-Shadows dangerous amounts of Shadow Poisoning.

Squawks is a Shadow Elemental, of course, but also a Song Elemental. Don't let the poetic Element name fool you, her power is based on sonic screeches that can tear stone to pieces, rather than anything remotely musical.

Already quite gigantic, she can grow to three times her size. The larger she grows, the more shadowy/smoky she becomes, with her wings growing even farther and almost intangible.

Lucky/Lux

Eric's third Spirit, he has a higher tolerance for Light than most Shadows, to the point of having glowing green markings that appear across his body when his powers are used. A Spirit born of anger, after one of Eric's easier plots unexpectedly failed and he had to listen to his enemy gloat on the suffering of those he couldn't save. Lucky pushes moral boundaries, being rougher and less discerning when it comes to who feels his wrath, his luck-based powers affecting entire towns. Him and Eric had a falling out over it, both doing and saying things they would later regret, leading Lucky to go off on his own.

As he grew, Lucky learned empathy. Learned how it felt to be attacked for no reason. Learned how even a petty inconvenience can bring someone to tears. Learned that, maybe, he had been a bad person. By the time he felt Eric's panicked Summons for all his Spirits, one done in terror and pain, he was willing to come to his aid. Learning that he had a little sister (Kami) is what convinced him to stick around.

He and Eric still have their issues. Still get on each other's nerves. Still haven't quite gotten around to apologizing for everything they need to. But... They're getting there.

Kamilite 'Kam/Kami' Ericsprit

Eric's youngest Spirit, and the only non-Shadow one. She was born out of panic and love, when a sword of Light was pushed to Eric's throat and his Casted were threatened. The power of that sword mixed with Eric's Soul, creating Kami. She carries it with her, and is quite skilled in its use.

She has healing abilities that work on all but Shadows. She can heal Shadows, technically, but it hurts her in the process and isn't very effective.

Charcoal 'Cherry' Ericsprit

Nicknamed 'Cherry' by Kamilite ("Warm sister!" He giggles in return).

A hyperactive Fire Spirit, the only one of Eric's Spirits since Mischief to not be Cast fully-grown, he speaks and behaves like a toddler. He can breathe small plumes of fire and burn things with his paws and tail.

His wings are technically useless, as he can float. His tail-tip and wing-tips are very sharp, so I suppose the wings do have a use as weapons. His eyes glow solid yellow with thin black pupils.

A Spirit born of death and rebirth. The only one known. What he will grow to be, no-one but the Twin Seers themselves can guess.

Whenever he's not being hyperactive, he spends most of his time sleeping, perhaps caught in the world between Life and Beyond.

Items And Such

Main Weapon

Eric has a tricked-out magician's wand that can extend into a fighting staff, as well as turn into:

* A slingshot

* A bow

* A poison dart blowgun

* A paddle ball

* And a flute

When in slingshot or bow form, it pulls on his magical core, creating projectiles or arrows made of of shadow energy (which is red because it usually comes out as Shadowflame rather than shadow smoke). There have been occasions when something has messed with his magical core and the energy comes out as something different, but this is rare.

Eric has very good aim, even by Spirikin standards (hyper-observance lends itself well to such things), which he loves to show off.

Listen, he pulls off a LOT of 'costume changes', okay? He will change outfits at the drop of a hat, with half an excuse or less. This boy has something for any and all occasions.
